What year did you begin and graduate Navigator College?
I began at Navigator College in 2009 as a foundation student in year two! I graduated in 2019.
What have you been up to since leaving Navigator College?
Since graduating I have moved to Adelaide for my studies. I started off studying exercise and sport science, going down the route of studying physiotherapy but since transferred to Midwifery.
I am now currently in my third and final year of my midwifery studies, and I’m absolute loving it - it is my calling! When I’m not catching babies or on call, you’ll find me with my girl pals probably at brunch or working my part time job as a physio receptionist and NDIS coordinator.
What is your favourite memory at Navigator College?
My favourite memory at Navigator College was coming first place in the South Australian Schools Culinary competition alongside my friend Chloe Dyer! We had so much fun travelling to Adelaide, and were truly shocked to receive a gold medal for our dish - asparagus stuffed chicken breast with portobello mushroom sauce. In general some of my best memories come from the hospitality kitchen with our close knit hospo class and Mrs Ford!
What is your biggest achievement so far?
My biggest achievement would be finding my career and my calling. Already having the privilege to have cared, supported and advocated for so many pregnant women and babies is such a blessing that I am so proud to be a part of.
What advice would you give to current students at Navigator College?
Be yourself, be kind, be empathetic, be passionate and choose the subjects that you love!
