    Whichever pathway is chosen, from University Degree to an apprenticeship, students will develop skills and capabilities that will enhance their life journey choices.

Learners are encouraged to challenge themselves to achieve in more ways than just a grade.

Along with a focus on academic achievement is an emphasis on developing ‘real-world’ skills such as creative thinking, inter-cultural understanding, teamwork and initiative. With an ever changing vocation landscape, these skills are as important, if not more important, than a grade or score.

  • Students are able to leverage expertise, resources and flexibility through the SACE (South Australian Certificate of Education) that will allow them to follow any post-school pathway that they choose. For some, this is a University Degree; for others, an apprenticeship or other trade pathway (often including VET - Vocational Education and Training - whilst at school). Whichever pathway is chosen, students will develop skills and capabilities that will enhance their life journey choices.

  • Learners are encouraged to step outside of their comfort zone; to challenge themselves to achieve in more ways than just a grade. With a wide variety of learning opportunities, learners can try the vast array of subjects that are on offer.

  • As a Lutheran school, service is high on our list of values. One of the ways that this manifests itself is through a partnership with a Lutheran School in Indonesia (SMA GKPS). Each year, a cohort of Year 11 students travel to Indonesia (late September) for two weeks, teaching in the school, living the culture and learning what it means to truly serve a community. In many ways, it is the students who are served, and learn from our Indonesian families about how to serve in our local community. Learn more.
