What year did you begin and graduate Navigator College?

I started at Navigator College as a year 4 student in 2009 and graduated in 2017.

What have you been up to since leaving Navigator College?

Since leaving Navigator College, I moved to Adelaide in 2019 (after taking a gap year) where I attended Flinders University for 4 years. I moved around in my studies a bit, starting in Media and Communications, then changing to Women's Studies and Disability Education, before finally sticking with Psychology. I studied Psychology for 3 years and finally graduated with a Bachelor of Psychological Science in 2023. During my time at Flinders University, I lived at the on campus accommodation, Flinders Living, which is also currently where I work. I have worked at Flinders Living for the past 3 years, working in student support and assisting our residential manager with applications, room allocations etc. I've seen many Navigator students come through Flinders Living to start their studies and I'm sure I'll see many more in future years!

What is your favourite memory of Navigator College?

My favourite memory of Navigator College was my service learning trip to Indonesia in 2016. We travelled with a small, tight knit group and I always look back at those memories fondly.

What is your biggest achievement so far?

My biggest achievement so far would be graduating from Flinders University and setting up my life in Adelaide with my partner of 5 years and our 2 cats.

What advice would you give to current students at Navigator College?

You may never know what you want to do with your life and that's okay. I have no idea what I'm having for dinner tonight, let alone what I'll be doing in the future. Try not to stress about it too much, just take it one day at a time, and as long as you are happy in what you're doing then that is all that matters.
