Year 6/7 Band

We believe that learning to play an instrument develops transdisciplinary skills such as patience, perseverance and persistence, the ability to delay gratification, the curiosity and grit to problem solve, resilience to know that sometimes failing before you succeed is ok (they will sound bad before they sound good!).

Learning an instrument allows growth through mistakes and teaches the skill of commitment. Having the motivation to improve and know that from hard work, success can prevail and can be powerful. We believe a musical instrument in your child’s hands can be the key to learning these skills.
