Building Resilience and Relationships
In the Junior School there are many different ways we build resilience and positive relationships with our learners. The language we use contributes greatly to this, especially during class ‘circle time’ experiences as well as both individual and small group restorative conversations.
Our College and centre have four foundation areas which contribute to a successful learner and environment. They are Safety, Learning, Communication and Respect. Our foundations for success make up our ‘College guidelines’ with each class deciding what that looks like in their learning environment. These are referred to often in managing students behaviour choices.
