Natural and wild spaces offer the best opportunities for children to freely play outdoors. At Navigator College we have our Bush Block which we use as an outdoor learning space.
Nature play stimulates senses, provides social interactions or independent play, and teaches children about living things and how to care for them. Nature play also a model for sustainable practices that include natural loose parts. Our learners enjoy all these benefits daily and you can see the enjoyment on their faces and in their body language. The students are making lifetime memories, as they build a healthy, inquisitive approach to learning.
