YEAR 12 RETREAT
It has been an exciting and productive first half of the year for
our Year 12 students. They have been studying hard and are
beginning to see the ‘light at the end of the tunnel’.
To help support the students in their last few months of formal
schooling, we will be holding a retreat atTrinity Haven on
Thursday, 4th July 2019 to Friday, 5th July 2019.
This will be an opportunity for students to enjoy some relaxation,
reflect on the year so far and prepare for the final few months,
away from their normal school environment.
As part of the retreat, and as an opportunity to share with the
group, we ask that students bring one item of inspiration or
personal value that they are willing to talk about that has helped
them in life so far. It may be a family photo, heirloom or other
personal belonging that holds significance to them.
There is no cost for the retreat and catering will be provided by
the school. We will be travelling by bus, leaving on Thursday, 4th
July 2019 at 8:30am sharp and returning to school on Friday, 5th
July 2019 for early dismissal at 2:10pm.
Students will need to bring the flowing items:
* Recess and lunch for the first day
* Insect repellent
* A sleeping bag
* Fitted sheet (if desired)
* Water bottle
* Warm clothes and PJ’s
* Tea towel
* Walking shoes (sneakers)
* Year 12 Journal
Students may also wish to bring personal items for recreation
(e.g. fishing gear, football, etc.).
The annual Forms Pack provides consent for local excursions,
including those to Trinity Haven. We will be taking current medical
records for your child. If there are any amendments that the school
needs to be aware of, could you please advise Student Services on
(08) 8682 5099.
