Navigator College has been selected for PISA assessment this year (Programme for International Student Assessment)
PISA 2015 is the sixth PISA assessment to be conducted since 2000 and involves more than 70 countries.
PISA is administered by ACER on behalf of the Australian Department of Education (DoE) and assesses if young Australians are meeting important educational outcomes. The participating students have been randomly selected by their age not year level, to participate in the assessment which consists of two online testing sessions to be held here at our school Computer room on Monday the 10th of August. The first assessment starts at 9am (duration 3.5 hours, contains eating and rest breaks) and the second assessment which is a financial literacy assessment begins at 1.20pm (1.5 hours).
If your child has been selected you should have received a letter last week informing all parents of the participating students about PISA.
We wish our Year 9 Students well on Monday.
