On behalf of the Port Lincoln Auxiliary of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, I would like to thank your students very much for their recent donation of $211- . Over the past 12 months, the Port Lincoln Auxiliary has raised in the order of $65,000. We have been able to do this, as a result of the excellent financial support from Eyre Peninsula residents, businesses and organisations. The RFDS uses these funds to purchase and medically equip its Pilatus PC-12 aircraft at a cost of approximately $6 million each.
Your students’ donation will help the tens of thousands of people each year, who rely on the RFDS aeromedical and primary health care services. The RFDS takes the finest care to the furthest corners of Australia and will continue to do so with the support of people like your students.
Would you please pass on the thanks of our members to Kain Zacher, Kye Butler, Chloe Burge-Woolford, Anika Parenta and Lachlan Biddell for their recent fundraising efforts, which are greatly appreciated.
Regards, John Nippress (Treasurer)
