We would like to invite families outside of the College community to engage in our ‘Navigator Experience’ day.
This is a wonderful opportunity Year 6 -11 students to come and try first hand College life at Navigator either in preparation for your 2018 enrolment, or simply curious to experience Navigator without any obligation.
If you know someone who is considering enrolment, please extent the invitation to them.
The ‘Navigator Experience’ day will take place on Wednesday 29th November and run for the duration of one full school day. The goal of the day is for Year 6 -11 students to build a sense of confidence, familiarity and expectation about learning at Navigator College. We hope that they gain a clear understanding of who we are and how the College is able to support them both pastorally and on their learning journey.
The day provides a chance to build some critical relationships with students and staff, as well as give them an experience of an actual timetable for 2018. The current Navigator College students will have commenced our Step Up program launching to the 2018 curriculum.
Throughout this day your child will:
** Receive a friendly welcome from the Heads of Schools
** Be connected with a student leader host (your child’s personal guide for the day)
** Be connected into peer groups and participate in team building tasks
** Be provided with an authentic learning experience, that is representative of College life
** Receive information about the extracurricular and learning opportunities at Navigator
Day & Time: Wednesday 29th November 2017
Start: 8:35am (Sign in to front office) and welcome by Heads of Schools
Finish: 3.10pm (Dismissal)
The College will also be pleased to host a provided lunch on the day.
Students will need to bring the following items: Pencil case, water bottle, sun-safe hat. It is not required that the students wear a school uniform (dress code is of their choice).
We encourage families to register their childs attendance with the administration office on 86825099, after which we will match a suitable host for the day, which will most likely be a person they may already know. They will be required to make their own arrangements for drop off/collection their child at the College on the day.
If you have any queries, please contact the college on 86825099.
