“My family and I feel extremely blessed to be part of the Navigator College community. I am a product of Lutheran Education, having attended St Jakobi Lutheran Primary School, Lyndoch, then Faith Lutheran College, Tanunda, prior to completing a Bachelor of Music and Graduate Diploma of Education at Adelaide University. I am currently studying a Master of Educational Leadership and should complete that this year. My passions are music (playing, listening and leading bands) and seeing young people use the gifts that they have to become amazing contributors in their communities. I am also a bit of a fitness nut – so don’t be afraid to say g’day if you see me running around Lincoln!! I enjoy writing, performing and recording my own music, but mostly I simply enjoy catching up with friends and having a chat. I am married to Amy, who is a Hairdresser, and have 3 children – Ella, Jed and Gracie. I’m excited to be given the opportunity to serve in this community and I pray that together we can support our students on their journey into adulthood. As Paul says in his letter to the Colossians: ‘He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me’ (Col.1:28-29). May God bless you all.”
Jamie spent some time getting to know the Year 12 Cohort last week at the Year 12 Retreat, at Trinity Haven. The Retreat was an opportunity for students to get to know Jamie (Mr Fewster), as well as have an informal time with the Year 12 teachers and peers. It also gave the students an opportunity to prepare for the year ahead and build relationships with those who will be supporting them.
