Congratulations to all of the students who participated in trials and district days during Term 1. The following students have been successful in being selected to represent the Lower Eyre Peninsula:
Swimming: Kyle McInerney, Ari Ralph, Alanah Sanders and Angus Waller.
Softball: Jakoda Skinn-Buzzacott and Kaleb Oestmann.
Athletics: Ayomide Ajao, Holly Wilson, Jack Upston, Jak Kennedy and Connor Harrison.
Tennis: Joseph Harris and Connor Harrison.
Cricket: Jaiden Jude and Kye Butler.
TERM 2 TRY OUTS:
Students will, once again, be informed in their classes of any information for events and trials as it becomes available. Please be aware of the following known upcoming dates and encourage your child to email their interest and to ensure they receive the necessary information (email can be directed to Carlyn Manners at the email address: email@example.com).
SOCCER TRIALS: Year’s 5, 6 and 7 boys and girls:
Soccer trials begin Thursday 12th May (week 2) – note the change of day to Thursday- at the Kirton Point Soccer Oval from 4pm-5pm. Parents are to organise their own transport and supervision. If successful and selected in a team, students will be invited to play in a Carnival in Adelaide (at Barratt Reserve) from the 20th to the 24th June (week 8).

NETBALL TRIALS: Year 6 and 7 girls:
The first Netball trial will be a one day trial to be held on Friday the 3rd of June (Week 5) at the Port Lincoln Netball Courts from 9:30 to 2:30pm. Navigator College students must organise their own transport and supervision on this day (please do not come to school and then walk over to Ravendale unsupervised). Some students will be invited to a second trial to be held on Friday, the 17th of June (week 7) at either the Cummins or Tumby Bay Netball Courts (after school).
Students have been notified. Please seek information for this day from Mr Peter Fraser.
LEP CROSS COUNTRY DAY: year’s 4-7 students
This is a district day to be held on Friday the 27th May (week 4) at Pioneer Park, Port Lincoln. Students can nominate for this day by emailing Mrs Manners. More information will be provided to interested students.
TOUCH FOOTBALL DAY: year’s 5-7 students
